Thoughts & Prayers Out To Coach Phillips' Family

On Saturday Coach Stephanie Phillips from Kickapoo High School in Springfield, MO passed away. She had been fighting colon cancer for the past three years. Liberty was able to help send over $1000 to her family during the "Kick The Poo Out of Cancer" night this past season. Liberty opened the season last year in the Kickapoo Classic and played Kickapoo for the first game of the year. In the short time that the coaching staff got to know Coach Phillips they were very impressed with what she has accomplished at Kickapoo, producing a state power in her tenure.
